At The Helping Team International, we understand that lasting change begins with economic stability. We support women, youth, widows, orphans, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in developing income-generating skills and small-scale businesses through adaptable, community-focused empowerment programs. These programs build resilience, boost productivity, and reduce poverty across underserved communities.
Our five-year strategic goal is to help lift 5,000 individuals, primarily women and youth, above the poverty line through the following key initiatives:
- SBEG Project (Small Business Enterprise Grants):
Provides micro-grants to petty traders and skilled artisans to strengthen small business operations. - CCG Project (Community Cooperative Grants):
Supports the organization of crop and livestock farming cooperatives, helping agro-allied groups scale sustainably. - SAP Project (Skills Acquisition Program):
Offers hands-on skills training and provides cash and material startup support for unemployed youth and women. - CFP Project (Community Farming Project):
Promotes community-based farming and livestock production to enhance local food supply and business ownership.
These projects go beyond financial aid—they offer pathways to independence, dignity, and self-sufficiency. Together, we are helping communities reclaim their potential and build brighter economic futures.
